Autoroute – Take the autoroute A6 south from Paris, direction Lyon then go onto autoroute A77 south, direction Nevers. Take the first La Charité-sur-Loire exit and follow the signs for centre ville (travel time approximately 1 hour 45 minutes).
By Plane
To France by plane and then by train to La Charité-sur-Loire from Paris Airport Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
Take the Air France airport shuttle bus at the airport to Gare de Lyon (cost approximately 14 euros – travel time 45 minutes). At Gare de Lyon take metro line 14 to Gare de Bercy. Gare de Bercy is a ten minute walk from Gare de Lyon. Then catch the train to La Charité-sur-Loire (travel time approximately 2 hours). It is a comfortable 10 minute walk with suitcases from the train station to our gites. If you make prior arrangements with us we would happy to pick you up at the train station.
We will be glad to assist you to make the travel arrangements necessary to travel from your point of arrival in Europe to La Charité-sur-Loire. We will purchase tickets on your behalf and send train schedules to you if you wish. Bon Voyage!!
Parking
You may load and off-load your car in front of the suites. Free parking is available on the street in front of the suites from 7:00pm to 9:00am each day. There is plenty of free unlimited parking behind the church, which is a three minute walk from the suites.
